Cycling-Adventure Cruise

Cycling-cruising adventure in Punkaharju! Discover the hidden gems of Pihlajavesi - first by cycling and finally by cruising and stopping by remote islands. Swimming, supping and sauna possibility on the way. Cruise available for min. 4 people on selected days twice a week (Thursday of Midsummer Festival week, starting next week on Tue and Fri).

CYCLING

Participants set off from Harjun Portti, either by rental bike or on their own bike. The 30 km cycle takes you to the Tynkkylän Lomaniemi- holiday village, through the ridge roads and picturesque countryside. There is a café and the "Polaris 1" ship waiting at the Tynkkylä-holiday village shore, which will pick up adventurers with their bikes.

CRUISE FROM TYNKKYLÄN LOMANIEMI (APPROX. 3H)

The cruise goes through ringed seal waters, so there is an excellent opportunity to spot ringed seals. Along the way, there is the opportunity to go to sauna found on the ship and swim and SUP paddleboard on the picturesque Hiekkasaari-island. Along the way, there is also the opportunity to stop at the sheltered sandy beaches of Sumpunlahti.

A soup lunch is served on board. The ship can only accommodate 12 people, so you can enjoy your adventure day in a small group. T he product is available on selected days with a minimum of 4 people. The trip is comfortably covered in the weather under a canopy or indoors on the ship.

TRANSFER FROM HARJUN PORTTI TO TYNKKYLÄ
The cruise departs from the Tynkkylä holiday village, approx. 30km from Harjun Portti. The cruise ends at the Tuunaansaari-village pier, 200m from Harjun Portti. We recommend that you cycle to the cruise departure point, along the ridge and rural landscape.

SCHEDULE & TICKETS

9-9.45 Departure to cycle from Harjun Portti according to your own schedule, approx. 30 km distance. We recommend having at least 2 hours for the cycling trip.
12.00 The ship departs from Tynkkylän Lomaniemi Swimming/sauna/sup available on the islands along the way.
15.00 The ship arrives at the holiday village of Harjun Portti

The cruise price is €99/person, including cruise, tasty soup lunch and coffees on board, sauna and stand-up paddle boarding available. Tickets must be purchased in advance at least 2 days prior. Please bring weather-appropriate clothing for the trip. Towels are available on the ship. The cruise is operated by Open Shores Saimaa on its Polaris1 ship.
