Fishing in Punkaharju

Punkaharju is a popular fishing destination and Tuunaansaari is surrounded by the lakes Pihlajavesi and Puruvesi - both part of Lake Saimaa. The opposite ridge area is a great destination for some easy angling, for bigger catches you might want to head to Lake Puruvesi.

Free fishing map and free use of our fish handling room to our accommodation customers!

Our accommodation & boat rental customers receive a fishing map from us. The map eases the navigation to find good fishing spots and more importantly, makes it more easy for you to steer a rent boat on foreign waters. Also, you can use our new fish handling room for preparation of your catch, the use of the handling room is included to the cottage- and boat rent prices.
