Close by the cottages you can reach our well-maintained nordic skiing tracks, which we have over 30 km. In Savonlinna region over 100 km. Our skiing tracks go along the fabulous Punkaharju ridge-area with many route selections.

When does the skiing tracks open? Usually first skiing tracks are opened around Mid December, but changes are great depending on winter. We update forecasts in our Nordic Skating Diary about winter conditions.

Length of season: Snow situation of winters change greatly -  at the earliest usually first tracks are opened around Christmas/New Year, sometimes early January. Cross-country skiing season usually lasts until Mid March / End of March.

Tanhuvaara FIRST SKIING TRACK

First skiing track of the season opens in nearby Tanhuvaara (30min drive), which opens a 1,2 km first snow-track in Mid November.
